Broccoli Salad

At lunch today Terry mentioned Broccoli Salad which I haven't made in ages but remembered it as delicious and that I had the recipe.  Maybe I'll make it again one of these days and then I'll put the picture here.

BROCCOLI SALAD 

Bunch of broccoli florets 

1 cup ralsins

1 cup chopped walnuts 

10 strips of crumbled bacon 

1/2 chopped red onion

Mix all the above together 

Dressing 

1 cup mayonaise 

5 tbls. sugar 

2 tbls. vinegar 

Pour dressing over salad 1 to 2 hours before serving 

Note - if the dressing is put on the salad too soon, it's not very good


Update: On 7/8/2020 I got a text from Terry asking me for this recipe.
Today, 7/12/2020 I was adding a new soup recipe to my recipe index and saw that I had Broccoli Salad there.  I still haven't made it since the original post in 2015.
